ARCHES NATIONAL PARK

WELCOME!
The largest concentration of natural stone arches in the world lies here. Wind and water, extreme temperatures, and underground salt movement are responsible for the sculptured rock scenery of Arches National Park.
The review of these trails will allow you to discover the riches of this red rock wonderland in a safe manner.

The Windows Section:  This trail is for everyone. There`s no climbing or long hikes on top of rocks. The Windows Section is divided within a perimeter mile into two sections; the North Window, and South Window. Here you`ll find a variety of arches, weird rock formations, pinnacles, balanced rocks and wonderful spires.
Other points of interest in the loop are: The Double and Turret Arches, The Cove of Caves, Parade of Elephants, and Ham Rock. No matter how short your stay, a least go as far as the Windows Section.

Devils Garden:  The Devils Garden is a place for people to walk and explore. It is a tremendous rewarding 5 miles roundtrip walk from the trailhead to Dark Angel. There are many arches to discover along the way.
The first mile starts easy passing through Tunnel Arch, Pine Tree Arch, and ends with a spectacular view of Landscape Arch.
The second mile becomes challenging, trails are marked with small piles of rock. In this strech you`ll be passing through Wall Arch, and Partition Arch.
The last 1/2 mile becomes strenuous, requiring some extra time and water, good hiking shoes and the ability to walk on top of sandstone surfaces, leading you to Double O Arch, and the looming pinnacle of Dark Angel.
Listen to your common sense and turn back before you reach your skill limits, carry and drink lots of water.
